Who can attend classes?
All abilities are welcome. However, if you are new to yoga and do not currently exercise the two sessions at Greywell Village Hall are more suitable to a complete beginner. If you are pregnant, have any injuries or a medical condition you should contact Jane before coming to class.
The Body Mentor Health Questionnaire
Please download, complete and sign the attached Health Questionnaire and bring it along to your first class.
What do I need to bring?
Loose fitting clothing (general workout clothes), sports bra for ladies, bare feet, preferably a fitness mat (or large towel), a small towel and bottle of water. It is best to arrive 5 – 10 minutes early.
Is there a relaxation part?
Yes, we use pranayama as focus for relaxation at the end of the class. This usually lasts for a couple of minutes.
When should I eat?
Try not to eat for at least 1 – 2 hours beforehand. Once the session is over it is best to refuel as soon as possible. I have handouts with great advice on what types of food you should choose.
Do I need to book a class in advance?
Please call Jane to discuss prior to your first class.
All car parks are large and free!
Remember to listen to your body – this is a non competitive class – everyone is different.
